Sacred Paws Animal Wellness or "SPAW" is a mobile service that provides therapeutic small animal massage in North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Vancouver, Burnaby and the Lower Mainland.
SPAW owner Julie Davidson founded A Walk in the Park Pet Care, a small, quality-driven company that provides a full range of services for pet owners in North and West Vancouver, in April 2000. At A Walk in the Park our approach has always been holistic; addressing both the emotional and physical needs of every animal in our care.
After researching it's many benefits, Julie felt massage could significantly improve the lives of A Walk in the Park's four legged clients, so in 2014 she attended the Northwest School of Animal Massage (NWSAM) where she earned her Small Animal Massage Practitioner certification (SAMP) under the tutelage of school founder Lola Michelin. The Northwest School of Animal Massage is designated as a 'Preferred Educational Provider" by the International Association of Animal Massage & Bodywork (IAAMB).
Julie is a member of the IAAMB and is Pet First Aid Certified through Walks n' Wags.
